Our tour begins around 6:40 a.m. at Alameda Pachacutec in Cusco, from where we will start a journey full of history and breathtaking landscapes.
Our first stop will be at the Sistine Chapel of Andahuaylillas, a colonial architectural jewel with impressive murals and golden altarpieces. Then, we will continue to Raqchi, where we will explore the imposing Temple of Wiracocha, one of the largest and most important constructions of the Inca Empire.
Around 11:40 a.m., we will take a break to enjoy a traditional lunch with choices of meat, chicken or fish, accompanied by side dishes, salads, infusions and desserts.
We will continue our journey to Abra La Raya, the highest point of the route, where we will be able to admire the majestic Andean mountains. Afterwards, we will visit the Pucará Museum, where we will learn about the fascinating history of this ancient Andean civilization and its cultural legacy.
Finally, we will arrive in Puno, concluding our journey at the bus terminal around 5:30 p.m., after a day full of history, culture and breathtaking scenery along the Ruta del Sol from Cusco.
