Itinerary

MEETING POINT: 1:50 PM – 2:00 PM

Our tour begins in the Main Square, from where we will start a walk along Loreto and Limacpampa streets, observing the majestic Temple of Qoricancha from the outside and admiring one of the most beautiful murals in Cusco, painted by the artist Juan Bravo. This walk will take approximately 45 minutes.

Next, we will board the bus to the Cristo Blanco viewpoint, where we will have about 10 minutes to enjoy the panoramic view and take pictures.

During the trip, we will be surprised by the appearance of colorful dancers representing emblematic festive characters from Paucartambo, such as the Majeño, the Pablitos, the Saqras, and the mysterious Kukuli, who will delight us with their traditional costumes and choreography.

Afterwards, we will visit the Huayllarccocha Lagoon, where we will witness the staging of the “Rapto de Kukuli” (Abduction of Kukuli), an emotional performance steeped in culture.
